Conclusion
Since Congress passed the law in 1942 allowing women to serve in the military during wartime, women have shown that they can go above and beyond the call of duty. The great generation of female military volunteers during World War II not only helped to strengthen our military, but paved the way for all those that followed willing to serve our country.
